Our German central office for humanitarian aid
Vision Hope International e.V. is a German humanitarian organization based in Germany. The organization, originally founded in Southern Germany, has also had a presence in Berlin with its main office since 2022. Located in a multicultural neighborhood, the office not only serves as a workplace for part of the German team, but also as a meeting place for community and cultural exchange. Through the Yemen NGO round table, Vision Hope connects German humanitarian organizations to strengthen collaboration and promote action in the country. Fundraising events, from charity runs to cultural events, support projects in the Middle East and raise awareness of the humanitarian situation in Yemen.

Vision Hope has had an office in the German capital since September 2022. After a long search, we finally found what we were looking for – in a multicultural neighborhood where we feel we are in exactly the right place. The office is a place of work for our small German humanitarian aid team, but not only that: it is also a meeting place for community and cultural exchange, a place for networking and various activities in Berlin and Germany. Why not drop by for a coffee!

The Yemen NGO round table has been networking German humanitarian organizations active in Yemen since 2022. The aim is to strengthen cooperation and promote joint measures in the country. This exchange is particularly important as there are numerous diaspora associations in which Yemenis from Germany are involved. However, there were only a few connections to established aid organizations. The round table therefore offers a valuable opportunity to discover potential for cooperation. More than 40 organizations are now taking part, including diaspora associations. The diversity ranges from small volunteer groups to medium-sized German humanitarian organizations and German offshoots of international NGO associations.

Whether we are raising funds for our humanitarian aid through charity runs or serving tea and cotton candy at the winter market in our neighborhood – we do all this to support our projects in the Middle East and at the same time raise awareness of the humanitarian situation in Yemen.
