Quality Standards & Transparency

Delivering relief under international charity accountability standards

Our work is based on the various projects which we individually develop with different partners on the ground. Cooperation with local communities, organisations, and government offices and agencies is key to the integrity and sustainability of each project, aligning with charity accountability standards and ensuring transparency. Local partners are involved in all project stages to strengthen learning and capacity, in line with charities and not for profit governance standards.

Within our projects no one should feel patronized, overlooked or misunderstood. In our experience, it is a good decision in our working routine to limit our own sovereignty to the benefit of greater self-responsibility of local partners. We willingly face up to the challenges involved. Great results are the reward we receive for our effort and engagement.

Humanitarian principles are the grounds for our operations and actions. The application of these principles for us is non-negotiable and indispensable. Furthermore, for all our projects, we apply the following charities and not for profit governance standards and codes:

Due to the promotion of development cooperation, our work is, according to the last notice of exemption (assessment period 2020 – 2022) received by us from the Emmendingen tax office (tax number 05015 / 05894) dated 15.02.2024, exempt from corporate income tax under § 5 para. 1 No. 9 of the Corporate Income Tax Act and from trade tax under § 3 No. 6 of the Trade Tax Act.
