Vision Hope International – providing relief since 2002.
The founding of Vision Hope International can be traced back to the simple appeal of one individual: Matthias Leibbrand. He had been devoted to various projects in Yemen and was overwhelmed by their success. He confronted his circle of friends with the idea of establishing an association; eventually, in 2002, Vision Hope International e.V. was entered into the registry of associations in Kenzingen, Germany – the starting point for a remarkable success story in the field of sustainable development and cooperation.
Since the beginning, our goal has been to provide people in developing countries with a hopeful vision for a life of dignity.
As of 2014, the charity has been listed under the registry of organisations in the city of Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany and is accredited as a non-profit and charitable organisation. To ensure transparency, the auditor firm Assmann in Stuttgart has examined our financial statements since 2008. Our tasks and more detailed goals are set out in our statutes.
Many elaborate projects, implemented with dedication, have helped Vision Hope to build a reputation and recruit a consistently growing number of enthusiastic supporters.
The association is registered with the local register of associations (VR 270382) at the city courts of Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany; and in 2002 accredited by the fiscal authorities in Emmendingen, Germany as a non-profit and charitable organisation (Tax ID 05070/50969).
